We are a team of three architects, alumni of Faculty of Architecture, PES University, Bengaluru, whose interests are varied yet unite to create spatial experiences.
Rajalakshmi is an explorer of creative fields, Parikshith is the backbone of our designs and Supreeth provides us with the technical know-how. While collaborating, we are seen delving deep into our computers, although we are never too far away from a snack or two.
Our office deals with architectural projects ranging from a small farmhouse in the fields of Kanakpura to a boutique resort in the woods of Dandeli.
I'm driven by innovative design and cutting-edge technology. With experience in project management, I ensure seamless execution on-site. I use product and lighting design to inspire user-centric experiences in my creations. Possessing a flair for illustration, I explore the potentials of the metaverse and NFTs, envisioning a future where digital landscapes blend with architecture.
My expertise includes advanced 3D modelling, coding, and virtual Zbrush sculpting. With a passion for fondant sculpting in baking, attention to detail is evident in my work. As a founding partner in DMNSNS studio, my passion for architectural innovation thrives to redefine design boundaries and create resonating spaces.
I have a zeal for collaborative design efforts that fuse hard work and innovation. My vision is to craft distinctive solutions that cater to human needs by immersing myself in various lifestyles and contexts, understanding culture through meaningful conversations, and designing with comprehension.
In my professional experience outside architecture, I have contributed as an Asst. Art Director for The Immortal Ashwatthama with PD - Saini S Johray, a 3D Modeller & Prop Designer for Kalki 2898 with PD Nitin Zihani Choudhary, and a 3D and Set Designer at Katte Entertainment, OTT Platform.
My passion lies in computational design and programming, pushing the boundaries of architectural expression. Alongside coding, advanced fabrication, and robotic know-how, I craft a seamless blend of innovation and architecture, aiming for new horizons.
With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to creativity, leadership, teamwork, and organisation, I strive to leave a positive impact through my work. As I pursue my dream of becoming a pilot, I'm soaring through the skies, learning and growing every day.
Our collective interests in advanced 3D modelling and fabrication led us to pursue a Global Summer School program, by IAAC Barcelona, where we developed skills in computational design and fabrication to repurpose the construction process. The program aimed to change the way we build and develop design tools, to have mass customised architectural elements at no additional cost using Digital and advanced Robotic Fabrication.
We have been recognized with honours from Archdais - SCULPTING THE PIONEERS OF ARCHITECTURE and received the Honourable Mention in the Birla White YUVRATNA NXT Awards. Moreover, we also secured a spot in the Top 25 DocxDoce International Designathon.
Our previous explorations in advanced fabrication include making a kinetic installation for the music festival Echoes of the Earth. The installation created awareness towards an endangered species of birds, made of recycled aluminium cans and suspended from a 13ft high rotating ‘tree’ base.
We have also worked on a proposal for Science Gallery Melbourne exploring interactive Virtual Reality Experiences which try to show a theorised effect of Dark Matter in the Universe. Our VR game allowed one to immerse themselves, in a simulated environment, where they interact with different elements, giving a greater understanding of how Dark Matter and thus, the world, works.
